Increasing the amount of physical activity is one of the best ways to boost your health and wellbeing, and one of the easiest ways to get moving is walking!
Walking is a great, low-impact, accessible and completely free way to get your body moving and feeling good which is why we’re currently leading our Health Walks for residents of Southwark.
What are Health Walks?
- Weekly
- Led by fully-trained walk leaders
- 30 minutes to one hour
- A great to way to walk with others, meet new people and improve your social skills
Who can join a Health Walk?
Anyone aged over 18 who lives in Southwark, or is registered with a GP in Southwark can join.
When and where the Health Walks take place
These current walks are for people with lower mobility who prefer to walk at a slower rate:
· Peckham Pulse, 11am Tuesdays
· Peckham Rye, 10am Wednesdays
· Ruskin Park, 11am Thursdays
